The odd job offer
I am one lousy blogger. That's nothing new, however.
Nothing much going on. Work, sleep, work, sleep. Oh, and the snow took off. Yesterday it was 18°C for a while and approximately a foot of snow melted off of the stone garden outside my building. The streams were happy.
About a week and a half ago someone called me and offered me a job. I said I was interested and would contact him again in a week or two, to which he agreed. Since then I have emailed this person twice and left him a phone message, all to no awail. This surprises me. If this person wouldn't want me to work for his company, why would he contact me at all? And if this person for some reason cannot keep his job offer, why not just let me know? I think this is very odd. But then again, I'm not used to having headhunters after me, so who knows, this might be the way they do it.
But I still think it's odd.
