Nostalgia by numbers

In hurricanes past, this is it:

"It was simply a great trek, the scenery wonderful and the weather too, but it was quite hard."*

Now, this could apply to any number of treks that I've done. In an ideal world, it would apply to every single trek that I've done and, more importantly, that I will ever do. The "quite hard" parts of treks are usually those who become most pleasant in retrospect... as was indeed the case for that particular trek. Aaahhh, the joys of bushwacking on steep hills. Aaahhhh, the joys of descending endless and impossibly steep gravel slopes. I'd go back to Cerro Castillo any time.


*(In terms of sampling techniques (I just came from statistics class), this one seems to give an amazingly good estimate of the mean!)
